Auction: HK Spring 2020 Preliminary Review

For every Jewellery Auction season, we would go through hundreds of jewellery items from all the major international auction houses: Christie's, Sotheby's, Phillips, Tian Cheng International, Bonhams, Poly Auctions.

However from this year on, we would make it a practice to highlight potential bargains from these auction houses, items that are great in value but have a low reserve price - based on the low estimate.

*Do note that these prices does not include the buyer's premium which differs for every auction house.

In this preliminary review, we based our judgement solely on the images used in the auction catalogs. This is because at this early preliminary stage, the jewellery would not be available for viewing in person until 3 days before the actual auction. Hence, if the items look exact to their pictures, it would be a good bargain if sold at the low estimate price.
